Since I have back problems, I decided to try Pilates. Balance Pilates of Tulsa has made a difference. I am able to do things that I haven't been able to do in years. Classes are of size so that individual needs can be met.
Erin DeCoursey started studying Pilates in high school after being diagnosed with scoliosis. She continued studying while attending Point Park University receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree. Inspired by the changes she saw in her body, she decided to become a teacher to share the benefits of Pilates with others. She received her certification in Pilates Mat, Reformer, Chair, Tower and Barrel through Balanced Body at Pilates Unlimited in Dallas, TX.
In her teaching, Erin prefers to focus on proper alignment and form, because of her own misalignment, and stretching because of her extensive training in dance.Erin loves helping people of all fitness levels reach their fitness goals.
The Balance Pilates Tulsa Commitment is to empowering people to achieve balance and wellness in their lives.

We want you to have fun, work hard, and see results! Although the balance methods of mat and reformer are intense, they’re still approachable for beginners. All students should take the class at your own pace. Remember, there are no grades or judgment; work for your best body.
We are located at 81st & Sheridan. This studio features a comfortable lounge, changing area, bathroom, group studio, and a private studio. Complete with reformers, tower, props, motivating teachers, and amazing students.
I have been coming to Balance since 2014. I had suffered a back injury and started as a post-op physical therapy regiment. I continue to get great results and see changes in my body. Even when the class is full, the trainers are still interacting with each individual to modify as needed for each student.
